Sleep and your skin..

Did you ever her your mom or grandma say they needed they're beauty rest? Well... they were on to something!! The effect that rest has on the skin is exponential!! Sleep is something you can ritualize to help the appearance and health of your skin. Always allot a certain amount of sleep a week, if you are able to do so of course. Have some 'sleepytime' tea or a melatonin before your nightly ritual so you fall asleep fast and sleep soundly through the night! If life gets in the way and you had a late night out or you have a new born etc. always try and make up your lost hours, or put aside specific times when a family member or friend can relieve you. Your skin is the largest organ in your body and has a rest period as well. While you are sound asleep, your skin is hard at work, but also in a restful state. Always apply a hydrating and healing night cream before bed! There really is a science to your sleep! Stay rested and healthy and happy! Sweet dreams!!! XXXX
